The Best Blemish Treatment Ever?!

Now as you all know from my 'Banishing Acne' post (http://beautylittleyou.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/banishing-acne-for-good.html?m=1) I used to suffer from severe acne. I do still get quite bad spots from time to time that can be painful and red and basically just horrible to have on my face.

So in response to the above post, a brand from the 'Derma Group': Acne Ultra Clear- http://www.acneultraclear.com/?aff=beautylittleyou-  got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to try their most popular product; their all natural herbal face cream*. So after researching and reading reviews that said even after one day of use they noticed an immediate difference to their skin, I replied exclaiming my delight to try it out.

I was just expecting a small sample size pot so when my package arrived and I found 4, 40ml pots I was shocked but over the moon!
As you can see, the packaging is quite simple, which I was a bit worried about at first, until I started to use the product and realised how amazing it is! It came with a little sheet to cover the the cream which I thought was a good touch, especially since it was shipped from Bulgaria!

The actual cream itself is consisted of all things natural, nothing chemical is added, which could be part of the reason as to why it is so amazing. The cream doesn't look too nice as it's an almost beige colour (think cake mixture) but I honestly do not mind as the way the cream works just overrides everything else.

The cream is so thick and creamy that it just felt so nice and soothing when applied to the skin. I also found that when I apply this, I don't need to moisturise aswell, so this product seems to be an all rounder- a blemish control and a moisturiser. With it being so thick, you only need a tiny amount, so these 4 pots will last me a lifetime!
Considering how thick the cream is, it blended into the skin so easily and didn't leave it feeling sticky or greasy at all which is always a bonus!

So the morning after I applied the cream, I already noticed a reduction of redness, the spots has reduced in size and my scarring had been blurred. And that was just after about 10 hours! As I've continued to use the product, my skin has been the clearest it's been in months, and I do have to say that I think it is all down to this life saver!

The only downside to the product, alongside the basic packaging and the aesthetics of the cream, is the smell. This issue will be an individual thing as it smells of gingerbread, and cinnamon... Almost like the Christmas candles you can get. I personally, just don't like that scent but actually saying that, I've became less bothered as I've used the cream more and more.

I can't sing this Acne Ultra Clear cream enough praises. It is honestly amazing and the service of the brand was equally as amazing!
You can find them on twitter: @AcneUltraClear

If you suffer from problematic skin I would 100% recommend this product as it has genuinely changed my life!
And the best part? You can get it here!

Barry M Flawless Matte Foundation Review

As an oily skin sufferer, I am always on the hunt for matte foundation. I have hunted far and wide over the years for the perfect one and I have found my absolute favourites, but I always welcome in new products to my collection.

So when I heard about Barry M's 'Flawless Matte Finish' foundation I immediately when out and bought it.
I love Barry M as a brand for many reasons. Their nail varnishes (obviously) but also because they are a cruelty free brand which is actually rare these days. So I had huge expectations for the foundation.. But oh boy was I disappointed!

It claims to be 'oil free' which I will say it does apply fully matte to the skin (when you can even tell you have it on) but it just feels like you are applying water to the skin which made me feel like it wasn't going to survive my long days, and the air con and heating at work. And I was right. Just a few hours into the day, it was sliding off my face, and not even powder could save it.

I bought it expecting it to be medium to full coverage as a lot of other matte foundations are, as often oily skin often comes hand in hand with problemed skin. But this foundation is the sheerest, lightest coverage I've ever stumbled across. I honestly couldn't even tell I had applied any after the first two layers, it was only after the third layer that I felt comfortable enough to leave the house. And that is just too time consuming for me to even deal with on a day to day basis! I couldn't actually believe how sheer it was, and how hard it was to build up, especially since it claimed to be 'super blendable' but once I started to blend, the product just blended completely into the skin and almost disappeared.

I picked up the shade 'Nude 2' which was the second lightest shade and I am normally the lightest shade, so I dread to think how light and sheer the palest shade was!

I was so disappointed with this product, but for lazy days I will use it just to not waste it!
But if you like light coverage then this foundation could be for you, especially as it's only £5.99.

I've never tried a foundation from Barry M before this, and I don't think I will again. I'll definitely just be sticking to their nail varnishes and lip products!

Evening Skincare Routine

I know it seems a bit back to front doing a evening Skincare routine before a morning routine, but I have a reason! My morning Skincare routine is honestly the simplest thing ever, I don't have time for complex and time consuming tasks in the morning, so I tend to keep it simple. My evening routine however, is slightly more interesting, yet simple.

Over the years I have tried and tested hundreds of skin care products, in the hope that they would aid my problemed skin. I spent so much money on products that I honestly didn't think were all that good. So I recently ventured into the drug store and found some really good products that have updated my routine and made a huge difference to my skin so I thought I would share them with you!

So I start by taking my eye makeup off (including my brows). To do so I take some of the Garnier Micellar water on a large cotton pad from the baby section in Boots; I love these because they're so big and therefore take off all the eye makeup in one simple sweep.. Especially with the Micellar water which is amazing!

And here's the result of that!

I then head to the bathroom to take off my face makeup. I recently discovered a Nivea cleanser and it has changed the game! You apply it to dry skin and simply massage it in, and rinse with water and it removes pretty much every bit of makeup.

It's the Sensitive Cleansing Milk and it's literally the most moisturising cleanser I've tried. A lot of cleaners I've found have ended up drying my skin up completely and leave it feel so tight, to the point where I've had to rush to apply moisturiser.

I then go ahead and double cleanse, with the Micellar water from previously, just to ensure that I've got every spot of makeup off.

My choice of moisturiser for night is a recent discovery. I've wanted to try the Vitamin E range from the Body Shop for ages now, so when I heard SuperDrug had a dupe range I jumped at the chance. So I picked up their leave on moisture mask and I immediately fell in love. I leave it on over night, and it leaves the skin feeling so soft and hydrated.

From the same range, I use their eye cream. This again, leave my under eye feeling so amazingly soft. I do suffer from dry under eyes and this has made a massive difference. I've noticed my concealer no longer creases which is great!

I hope this has inspired some of you to try out high street skin care!

Lots of love,
