Light up your Life with Primark Candles!

Happy Sunday guys! Hope you're all having a nice relaxing day!

Today I took the chance to organise my room... And essentially my life.

So in said process, I noticed my tea light jar was near empty, so I delved into my stash to solve this issue. I always have spare tea lights stored away because the thought of running out makes me stressed... Does that happen to anyone else?!

I normally swear by IKEA's vanilla and apple scented tea lights, but since it's a bit of a trek to my nearest IKEA just to restock on candles, I thought I would have a look in Primark for some. And boy did they do good.

I was immediately drawn to the Vanilla and Coconut scent as vanilla is my all time favourite scent in candles.. So they made their way into my basket without any second thoughts. My eyes then fell on the Watermelon and Citronella tea lights purely for how colourful they were! You get a selection for pink, turquoise and baby blue tea lights in the pack. I went over expecting to hate the scent since I normally don't like watermelon scents as I find them quite overpowering. However this scent is quite possibly the nicest fruity scent ever.

Primark also does an actual candle of this scent, which along with the tea lights, I couldn't resist.

The tea lights are £1.50 per pack of 30 and the candle is £3. So cheap for such amazing scents! The tea lights also burn for around 3 hours and the candle is still going for me and I've burned it every day for a about a month!

So whilst restocking my jar, not only did I notice how pretty they all look together, but how amazing they were making my room smell before I even burnt them! The scents are strong enough to notice but not too overpowering to give you a headache. I mean look how gorgeous they all look together, combined with my apple tea lights from IKEA:

I store my candles in a medium sized jar from IKEA and keep it on my windowsill like you can see from the first photo. I love how the sun reflects off the jar and emphasises all the colours.

The colours together and scent just remind me of summer, I love them.
If you haven't already, go check out Primark's selection of candles, so cheap yet so good!

There's a few ranges of candles and can be found on their website which I will link here for you: http://m.primark.com/en/whats-new/article/318,scented-candles/

Let me know if you have tried any of the other scents so I can be sure to go pick some up!

Bath time Saviours

I don't know about you, but I genuinely look forward to my bath each night. I mean I love showers as much as the next person, but there's something about baths that I just find so relaxing. Just me?

I especially love my bath if it involves atleast one thing from Lush. At the minute I am seriously in love with 'The Comforter'.. The smell is literally the nicest thing I may have ever brought to my senses before. Are scents meant to make you happy? Is that normal?
I mean look at it. It even looks amazing!

So normally I will crumble a small amount of Comforter under the running water and just watch it create lovely bubbles for me to relax in and let all my worries wash away. Just a small amount makes loads of bubbles so it will last you a while too which is a bonus!

So once in the bath I then take off my makeup using Boots Botanic 'Cleansinf Foam Wash' from the 'All Bright' range. I love this cleanser as it leaves your skin feeling super soft and clean; which is the aim. To remove my eye makeup I have recently started using Garnier's Micellar Water. And my GOD, this stuff is good! It removes even waterproof mascara in seconds and doesn't aggravate my eyes. I suffer from really sensitive eyes and find it hard to find an eye makeup remover that doesn't give me a stye, but this stuff is amazing!

I then go ahead and wash my hair. I change my shampoos quite often, but I am currently using Tresemme. I always go for shampoos and conditioners that claim to help dry and damaged hair as that is exactly what condition my hair is in with it being so thick and curly. Talking of conditioners, I have been so excited to tell you all about this. VO5 'Give Me Moisture' conditioner is my new holy grail. It leaves me hair feeling so healthy and so soft; I can't stop playing with my hair after using it. If you suffer from dry hair like me, you guys need to try this!

Whilst I leave my conditioner in for a treatment I then use Original Source's Vanilla and Raspberry shower gel. And oh boy this stuff smells incredible. It reminds me of a sweet but I just can't pin point which one so you guys all need to go out and smell it and let me know what you think!

I then rinse my conditioner out of my hair and feel the luscious locks it has blessed me with!

And finally... I give me skin an exfoliate with Clarins 'Gentle Refiner' as my skin also feels clogged and dry after a hot bath.. Downside of relaxation I guess?!
This just gets rid of any nasties in my skin and leaves it feeling soft and fresh.

Leave a comment if you've tried any of these products and what you all think of them!

Lots of love,

Primark Outfit of the Day!

So girls, I am not ashamed to admit that I am a fully pledged Primark lover.

I don't see what's not to love: on trend pieces for a small price! Pretty much everything in Topshop can be found in Primark for less than half the price.. AMAZING!

So this morning, as it was my day off and I was actually doing something, I took the chance to scour my wardrobe to find pieces that I loved; and it just so happened that everything I chose to wear was from Primark itself.

I went for this grey roll neck poncho style knit that I just thought was a bit different. I love the colour and how loose and flowy it is... And I particularly liked the £5 price tag! I'll admit that I did pick it up whilst it was on sale, but even then it was only £10/£12 full price! However on this dog walk I did regret putting it on as I was boiling!

My favourite piece of the whole outfit has to be my khaki trousers. Khaki is so my thing at the minute.. Anything khaki I will love. Guaranteed. I think it suits my skin tone really well and doesn't wash me out. I also have these trousers in black which just shows how much I love them! I find them so comfy and so versatile. You can dress them down like I did today.. But you can also dress them up which I have done a numerous amount of times. I believe they went for a steal at £12.

Finally, my shoes. These shoes are a staple in my wardrobe. I find them so easy to wear as they go with everything and anything. The snake pattern adds a bit of something different to them which is what drew me to them.. They stand out from other black pumps. I also love how they don't give me blisters which a lot of my Primark flats unfortunately do. Again, the price tag is another reason to love them as I am sure I got them for a lovely little £8!

In terms of whether you can still go pick them up, I am sure the jumper and trousers are still in stock as I saw them the other day, but the shoes I am not so sure about. However I am positive they will have some similar!

Go pick them up girls, you will not regret it!

Lots of love,
