Hey, Don't Sweat it!

I think what I'm about to write could be the strangest and most random post I've done to date, but it could well be the most useful and relevant post to date with summer being on our door mats!

I think it's about time we all stop sweating (I am so sorry for that awful pun) about our personal hygiene, because I have found the answer to all problems.

I'm the type of girl that admittedly will buy whatever deodorant is on offer that day,  but I do hunt out the ones that claim to have '48hr protection' and 'leave no white marks'. So a couple of months ago I stumbled across an old favourite- I know, sounds so weird to say I have a favourite deodorant- Soft and Gentle's Orchid and Passion Flower. It was on offer for £1 so I quickly shoved it in my basket, but it wasn't until I actually used it the next day that I realised why I used to love it so much.

To start off with, it smells glorious. It reminds me of summer and being 16 and all excited for the summer holidays every time I use it. But if that's not a good enough reason to love it, the way it stops sweat and funny smells arriving definitely is. I apply this at about half 6 every morning and I'm still fresh at the end of the working day. I took this on holiday in a compressed size bottle and I definitely noticed how little Ineeded to use  considering how hot it was.

It also sticks to it's claim of no white marks, my uniform consists of a red shirt so white marks would not be a look good, and thanks to this deodorant I do not get any at all, wahoo!

I will definitely be repurchasing and repurchasing again and again as I seriously love this deodorant; as silly as that sounds!

So girls. if you're needing to stock up on your everyday necessities, consider this when you're shopping the basics!

It's even good value for money in another way; on a lazy day, you can 100% get away with doubling this up as a perfume too. (I won't tell if you won't!)

Hope you enjoyed this extremely random post!

Holiday Snaps

Hi strangers!
I just want to firstly apologise for my huge abscence from blogging! I won't bore you with the details but all that matters is that I am back in full force.

And I am back with a snapshot into my recent holiday to Mallorca that you may know about! I had the most amazing time on the boat and wanted to share some pictures with you (and make you hate England and it's weather even more!).

Seriously guys I could never get bored of those views!

My face will be appearing now:

And the best part was that I got to share this amazing holiday with my boyfriend, so here's his face appearing too:

I am so sad to be home and the holiday blues are well and truly with me. But it did mean I could properly relax and I feel better about blogging again now. Silver linings and all!

I hope you enjoyed this short but sweet return!

Holly Grail Hand Cream

If you don't already know, I suffer from dry hands real bad and I'm constantly on the look out for a hand cream to help me. I always stick to drugstore hand creams because I go through them so fast that I can't justify spending a lot of money on hand creams that I'll use up pretty much straight away.

I used to swear by Garnier Intensive Restoring Hand Cream as I found that it gets to work straight away and soothes the agitation I get from dry hands. It retails at £3.99 which I thought was really good.. Until I came across this new gem!

If you can't already tell from the infamous star logo; this hand cream is from SuperDrug. I intended on going in and picking up the Garnier one and leaving within 2 minutes (obviously paying too don't shoot me), but my eyes were drawn to Superdrug's own range of hand creams for three reasons, the colours of the times, the eye catching writing and most importantly the 99p price tag!

There was a couple of creams in the range in different coloured tubes that all claimed to do combat something different but I decided to go for the blue packaging that claimed to Soften and Smooth hands, which is what I always need. It is also described as 'intensive' which is an adjective that I commonly look for in lotions, so I was instantly sold on it from the minute I saw 99p!

Whilst looking through the ingredients which are all good by the way! (she's butter obviously makes an appearence which is always good in a hand cream!) I came across the little jumping rabbit logo which can only mean one thing: cruelty free. So that was the final thing for me, I instantly found myself strolling over to the tills to buy this gem and take it home with me.

I'm so glad that I did aswell as it is honesty one of the best hand creams I've used! It does exactly what it says on the tin (or tube whatever) and it doesn't just offer short term relief but it lasts all day long. I used to find myself thinking I need some hand cream and I need it now, especially with my job, but that panic is long gone!

It's so good, I went out and bought two more to stock up with as I hate running out of hand cream!

I 110% recommend this, and for 99p there really is no harm in trying it out for yourself!
