Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Review

So recently I have really been getting into nail polish and have really enjoyed experimenting with different brands and colours. I never used to delve into the world of nail varnish- I had my favourite ones and that was it.

But recently as my nail beds have become stronger and I have FINALLY overcome the demons that made me bite my nails, I have found a new love of all things nails.

Although one thing I have always and will always hate about painting my nails is the whole waiting for them to dry palava. I can guarantee that every time I have painted my nails, I will suddenly need a wee or I will smudge them on something and it infuriates me. So when I discovered Barry M's new range of nail polishes that claim to be 'quick dry' I had to pick one up to try!

I chose a lovely pastel lilac shade in number 26 as I thought it would be a nice transition colour for spring.

You can see from the picture above that my nails are getting quite long and quite good strength considering I used to bite them to death!

I love the colour of this polish and I can see it being constantly on my nails this spring/summer! It looks exactly how it does in the bottle when on the nails which is always a bonus as sometimes the colour isn't always true.

In terms of the 'quick dry' claim, I did notice that it was dry to touch after about a minute or so and was ready for a second coat. With other polishes I find that it can take a few minutes for them to be dry enough for another application. I was really impressed by the Barry M polish as it did what it said on the bottle.

So far so good and I am excited to see how long it lasts before it chips!

Let me know if you've tried out any other colours from this range!

Lots of love,
Hannah xxx
